About LogicYogi

Why we build custom Next.js instead of using site builders.

Wix, Squarespace, and Webflow are real products built by real engineering teams — they're fine for what they are. But they're built for the lowest common denominator, and small businesses lose 30-50% of their conversion potential because of it. Here's why custom is worth the upfront investment.

Why us
  • Performance compounds for years

A site that loads in 1s vs 4s sees materially better rankings, conversion, and ad ROAS — and that compounds for the life of the site. Builders ship 4s. Custom ships 1s.

  • You own the codebase

Code is yours, hosted wherever you want, editable by any agency. Builders own the platform — when they raise prices or kill features, you have no leverage.

  • Real systems beat embedded widgets

Calendly embeds, OpenTable widgets, Mailchimp forms, Stripe Buy buttons — they all work fine, but they look bolted on, take cuts, and store your data. Real systems built once compound forever.

  • Custom amortizes inside 12-24 months

    Wix Business: $40/mo + $20-50/mo apps = $60-90/mo. Custom: $20-30/mo total. Difference covers a $2,500 build inside 18-24 months. Then it's free.

How we work
  1. 01

    Audit your current setup

We run a free audit (paste your URL at /audit) and tell you whether custom is even the right move. Sometimes it isn't — we'll say so.

  2. 02

    Fixed-price scope

If custom is right, you get a detailed quote with milestones. If not, we point you at the right tool.

  3. 03

    Ship in 2-8 weeks

Depending on scope. Weekly preview links throughout so you can course-correct early.

  4. 04

    Hand-off + own it forever

Code repo, admin training, monitoring guide. The site lives on YOUR Vercel + Supabase accounts, not ours. We can manage it for you on retainer or you can hire any other agency to take over.

Common questions
  • When should we NOT build custom?

Pre-revenue, untested business — use a site builder. Marketing-only site with simple CMS — Webflow's a fine answer. Below $1,500 budget — DIY on Squarespace beats a half-finished custom build. Honest.

  • Isn't custom slower to ship?

First version: yes, 2-6 weeks vs a weekend on Wix. Long-term: custom ships features your business needs, fast. Builders make you wait until they ship the feature you need (or never).

  • What stack do you build on?

    Next.js 16 (App Router) + TypeScript + Supabase (Postgres + Auth + Storage) + Tailwind + Vercel hosting. Stripe / Cal.com / Drive / Resend / Anthropic / OpenAI as integrations. Industry-standard, well-documented, hireable.

  • Do you build with AI tools like Cursor / Lovable?

We use them daily for parts of our workflow. We don't ship vibe-coded production code — security holes, subtle bugs, and unmaintainable patterns. AI is a fast pencil; building in production still takes engineering judgment.
